Felix's TwoHands Stand for iPad: Ingenious Clamp Design

Personally, I love efficient and simple so I was eager to review the TwoHands II from Felix. It opens up, like a giant clippy, to hold your iPad or other tablet in place on any solid surface.

TwoHands II in action

The  two hands clasp on your tablet and the base provides the balance. The product can be placed anywhere on your iPad while remaining sturdily placed.

Optional settings

The TwoHands II is made from a combination of aluminum, plastic, and silicone. The maximum opening size is 10.5-in (26.67-cm). The maximum tablet thickness is ⅜-in (9.5 mm). It is 7-in (17.9 cm) long. It includes a six month warranty. The following image provides a size comparison that better demonstrates the size.

Using The Product

This product is very easy to use. It opens easily, yet it clamps firmly. I was able to open it with one hand while I used my other hand to place my iPad Air between the hands.  Once in place, it stayed in place until I choose to move it.  It is necessary to make sure you don’t cover any buttons with the “hands” if you anticipate needing to access them.

One hand open

With a maximum tablet thickness of 9.5 mm, it is apparent that it does not work with full cover cases. However, it worked just fine with my iPad Air dressed in a smart cover. I also worked easily well with an iPad one which is much thicker than the iPad Air.

It can be carried in a bag, backpack, or briefcase, but I found it to be the most useful stashed near my desk where I could quickly open it and use my iPad.

Do I Recommend It?

I do. It is clever, sturdy, and easy to use. I love the ease of use and the portability.
