Griffin's Harris Tweed iPhone 5/5s Case Is Elegant

Griffin Technology’s  Harris Tweed iPhone 5/5s case and wallet combination is both attractive and useful. It is available in black or brown tweed from the Outer Hebrides off the coast of Scotland where the weave is created by individuals in their own homes. This is true Harris Tweed and not a knockoff.

The outer panels are bound with leather which continues inside in order to frame the iPhone with a nylon lining. Inside the case are card slots and a cash pocket. The card slots are large enough to insert and remove a normal sized card with ease. This case carries a one year warranty and has an MSRP of US$59.99.

Inside View

The package is not as elegant as the case which is too bad, but it is serviceable and allows potential purchasers to get a good view of the case. In the following image I pulled the case half way out of the package for clearer viewing.

Using The Product

Like all wallet cases, the front must be opened to get to the phone but it flips open easily. There is ready access to all the ports and buttons and the iPhone can be charged without removing it from the case if a cable is used. It is easy to insert and remove the iPhone. The phone slides into the pocket from the inside fold so there is no reason to fear it dropping out of the case.

Do I Recommend It?

I do.  This is an attractive case. The wallet portion is big enough to hold and retrieve needed cards or cash. It is certainly well made and offers an element, the true Harris Tweed component, that other similar cases do not offer. The price is reasonable  and last but not least, I feel you can always trust Griffin. Note:  I found this wallet case on Amazon, but it was more expensive than from web site.
