by , 5:00 PM EST, December 13th, 2000

Tonight's Mac Show will feature MACWORLD coordinator and IDG's Vice President, Rob Scheschareg. Mr. Scheschareg will talk about what we can expect from January's MACWORLD, and discuss what it takes to make a show of that size fly. Also featured will be MacSpeech's Chuck Rogers. MacSpeech is celebrating the final release of their dictation software, iListen, and Mr. Rogers will give listeners all of the details. According to The Mac Show:

The closer we get to Macworld Expo in San Francisco this coming January, the more guests The Mac Show jams into their show!

The Featured Guest on Wednesday's Mac Show will be Rob Scheschareg, Vice President of Events at IDG World Expo and the guy whose job is to make sure the Macworld Expo and Conference is a huge success. Tune in Wednesday evening to see how he's going to manage that.

The Products Guest will be Chuck Rogers, Chief Evangelist of MacSpeech. They've recently released their voice recognition software, iListen and Chuck will be on to talk about the features and advantages of iListen.

On the TechTips segment, sponsored by Micromat's Tech Tool Pro 3, Ted Landau of MacFixit will be on to discuss the MacFixIt Toolbox Awards.

In the Newsmaker of the Week segment, the Mac Show Gang has ferreted out some *very* interesting info regarding MacWEEK and MacCentral. You'll have to tune in to hear the scoop.

Peter Cohen of MacCentral will be on with his Special Guest, Mark Adams of Westlake Interactive. Mark is one of the busiest and best coders in the Mac business. We'll find out what he's working on.

Mark Stevens will have another Mac Media Pro segment. This week, Scott Kelby of Photoshop User Magazine will be on to apologize profusely to the audience. Tune in to find out why!

As if all that weren't enough, someone will be awarded an iMac on this week's show! 1010TV.com's Bilboe MacGuppy has chosen The Mac Show as the place to announce the winner of their "It's U on the Web" Contest. Check out the entrants on their web site and listen in on Wednesday to find out the winner.

Along with all of their usual cool swag to give away - Podium CoolPads from RoadTools.com, copies of Tech Tool Pro 3, T-Shirts from MacSupport.About.com - the prize bag gets bigger this week. Eskape Labs will be giving away a MyTV Video and TV Capture Box each week from now through Macworld Expo! Tune in to win!
