Ready Or Not, The Titanium PowerBook G4 Ships! (With Pics)

Ready Or Not, The Titanium PowerBook G4 Ships! (With Pics)

by , 10:20 AM EST, February 1st, 2001

The Titanium PowerBook has been sighted at Mac Business Solutions, as the first shipments seem to have arrived in a few places. We were lucky enough to receive pictures as evidence of the arrival of the units, and yet one more proof that it looks so darn good. As if we didn't know it already!

During yesterday's Financial Analyst meeting, it was clear that Steve Jobs, Fred Anderson, and Phil Schiller were quite proud of having gotten these machines out the door on time. Apple will be archiving the meeting until February 28th. For those who can not get a stream, we provided live coverage of the four hour event for your reference.

The Mac Observer Spin:

Rumors have been flying that Apple would not be able to meet the announced shipping time of "the end of Janaury." Clearly they have, though we don't know yet if all of the current demand is being met. After reading Dan Knight's impressions about his new PowerBook, we think that many Mac users are about to receive their new silver-looking notebooks. Enjoy!
