Mac users were in for a treat this afternoon when Apple made Mac OS X 10.0.3 available via the Software Update utility. Details on the 10.0.3 update are scarce at this time, as even Apple OS X page is listing 10.0.2 as the most current version.
VersionTracker, however, claims that this update, "Ensures full visibility of file lists in directories that contain a large number of items."
Version tracker also claims the update to run 14.9MB in size. Running the Software Update utility on several computers at The Mac Observer did indeed list a 10.0.3 update, however the file was 1.6MB in size.
The download and installation, via cable modem, took just over one minute, including the now standard "optimization" process associated with OS X updates. Once the update is installed, the About This Mac... box lists the current version as "OS X 10.0.3 (Build 4P13)".
You can download the update via the Software Update System Preference, and you can also find more information about Mac OS X at the Apple Web site.
