IOGEAR Intros KVM Switch With Built-In Ethernet

by , 3:20 PM EDT, August 29th, 2005

IOGEAR on Monday introduced its new MiniView Symphony Multi-Function KVM Switch, which includes a built-in Ethernet 10/100 switch. The switch enables users to not only control three or more computers from a single keyboard, mouse, speakers and monitor setup but to also network those machines together.

The MiniView comes in two- or four-port versions; the former can drive up to three computers while the latter can control up to five. The two-port model is US$249.95 and the four-port version is $349.95.

Both support auto-sending 10/100 Mbps speeds and are fully compliant with the 802.3 networking standard. Custom six-foot KVM cables are included with both switches.
