Native Instruments Plans Intel-Mac Support

by , 1:10 PM EST, January 16th, 2006

Native Instruments (NI) announced on Monday that it will release all of its future product updates in the Universal Binary format capable of running natively on PowerPC-based Macs, as well as the new Intel-based Macs. NI's products should all be updated during 2006, and flagship products, like GUITAR RIG, REAKTOR, and TRAKTOR DJ Studio, will be updated in the second quarter of this year. It plans on releasing the updates as fee-based upgrades, or as a part of major product revisions. Additional pricing and availability information will be available soon at NI's Web site.
