by , 11:45 AM EDT, May 10th, 2006

TRI-EDRE announced the immediate availability of CheckUpdates 1.0 on Wednesday. CheckUpdates scans your Mac for installed applications, and then alerts you whenever any updates are available. It is a Universal Binary application, supporting both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and you can add or remove applications from the watched list.

CheckUpdates is available for download at the TRI-EDRE Web site, and costs US$10. It is free to use if you only want to monitor updates for TRI-EDRE applications.
