Remote Buddy Preview Available

by , 1:15 PM EDT, June 6th, 2006

IOSPIRIT announced the immediate availability of a preview version of Remote Buddy 1.0 on Tuesday. Remote Buddy is a Universal Binary application that lets you use the Apple Remote to control EyeTV 2 as well as other applications, your keyboard, and mouse. When used with EyeTV 2, it turns your Mac into a TV digital video recorder, allowing you to pause live television, choose which programs to record, play recordings, and more from your Apple Remote.

Remote Buddy 1.0 Preview is available for download at the IOSPIRIT Web site, and requires Mac OS X 10.4.6. It is priced at 9.99 (about US$12.83) during the preview, and will go up to 14.99 (about $19.25) when the official 1.0 release is available.
