Frameline 47 1.1 Improves Podcast Support, More

Versatile Delivery Systems Ltd announced the immediate availability of Frameline 47 1.1 on Tuesday. Frameline 47 breaks video files into smaller segments and attaches XML and MPEG-7 compliant metadata to the clips. The updated version adds improved podcast export functions, produces iTunes U-compliant podcasts that contain both lecture audio and video streams, adds Final Cut Pro XML export, improves the Notation interface, and more.

Frameline 47 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. It is available at the Frameline Web site, and is priced starting at 200 (about US$368.25).
