Mariner Debuts Pre-Release Beta of Montage

by , 12:00 AM EDT, June 16th, 2006

Mariner Software has issued a pre-release Beta of its upcoming screenwriting software Montage. The application offers a live script outline, a view of characters, locations, tasks, research, and more. It also includes templates for film, television, and theater that automatically format the script to industry standards.

Other features include Smart Views that allow writers to visually filter the script to the desired content, based on criteria, and the ability to create, submit, and track query letters, a script synopsis, and script submissions to hundreds of included industry contacts when the script is completed.

During the rest of the Beta phase, Montage can be purchased for US$99.95. It will be $139.95 when the final version ships; a date was not provided by Mariner. Mac OS X v10.3.9, a G4 processor, 128MB RAM, and 20MB hard drive space are required. The application is a Universal Binary.
