Apple to Pull Some Products in Europe

If you plan on purchasing an AirPort Base Station, iSight, or iPod shuffle battery pack in Europe, stop procrastinating. Apple plans to stop selling those products in the EU on June 23 since they don't comply with new European environmental regulations. Third-party resellers can continue to sell their remaining stock until it is depleted.

According to Macworld, Apple issued a note to resellers that states "As we cross into July 2006 a few products will not meet all the requirements and will therefore be withdrawn from Sale in Europe."

Apple has no intention of discontinuing the products, and they will continue to be available in other parts of the world.
