Omni Group Introduces OmniPlan Beta

The Omni Group released a public beta of its new project management application, OmniPlan, on Wednesday evening. OmniPlan includes task management, smart scheduling, visual timelines, resource allocation, Gantt charts, budget tracking, and more. It also imports files from OmniOutliner, OmniGraffle, Microsoft Project, and FastTrack Schedule. Data can be exported to iCal, Microsoft Project, OmniOutliner, OmniGraffle, and several other formats.


The OmniPlan public beta is free and available for download at the Omni Group Web site. It expires on August 26. The final release will be priced at US$149.95.
