Build Your Own Mac-O-Lantern

Build Your Own Mac-O-Lantern

by , 10:00 AM EST, October 30th, 2006

Just because Jack-O-Lanterns come out only at Halloween doesn't mean they can't work as computer cases. If you have a spare Mac sitting around, you can give it a new home - at least for a few days - inside a Jack-O-Lantern.

This pumpkin PC started life as a Dell computer, but the step-by-step instructions will work just fine for a Mac, too.

The same group is working now on a Mac version of the computer-powered pumpkin.

If you have a Classic Mac handy, follow along with the Pumputer to see how to fit all of the Mac's components, including its display, into a pumpkin.
