Selznick Scientific Software announced the immediate availability of password database application for Mac and PalmOS, PasswordWallet 4.0, on Thursday. The new version is a Universal Binary application, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It also adds a new interface, live-filtering search, file-to-file synchronization, plain-text file export for iPods, improved sorting, and more.

The PalmOS version adds support for unicode text in all fields, alternate field names for user name and password fields, storing data on any expansion card, and more.
