Xnet Communications Releases iSoftPhone, a VOIP Solution for Mac
by , 1:10 PM EST, February 5th, 2007
Xnet Communications announced Monday iSoftPhone, a Voice Over IP (VOIP) software solution for the Mac. iSoftPhone was developed from the ground up as a Mac solution, and it allows you to make telephone calls through your Mac. Xnet also launched Call4Mac.com, a site specific to iSoftPhone.
There is no word yet as to whether Apple will take exception to the name iSoftPhone, though the Xnet's own announcement made mention of the company's intentional effort to make iSoftPhone's interface resemble the iPhone. "We have tried to provide some fun by making a skin which is strangely familiar to a product unveiled at the Expo," the company said.
