WeatherTracker: Local Weather On Your Mac

WeatherTracker 2.3.2 ($20 Shareware)
Christopher Kidwell

Excessive surfing, marathon game playing and other involved computer tasks may preclude certain activities, like getting up to see what the weather is like. Or, you may actually have a life [Editor's Note: What is this "life" of which you speak? Is "life" some of this "non-Mac" stuff that is rumored to exist?"] and would like to know what Mother Nature has in store for you over the next few days. Either way, WeatherTracker can give you the information you need.

WeatherTracker can show both current conditions and forecasts for nearly 1500 cities in North America, as well as limited data for cities throughout most of the world. Current conditions can include temperature, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction, humidity and a graphic showing general conditions (clear, rain, snow, etc.).

For those who are really interested in what is going on, the current conditions can also include daily high/low values for the temperature and barometric pressure, as well as wind chill and dewpoint readings. Raw climate data and a marine forecast may also be available.

The forecast window typically provides detailed information about current conditions, possible warnings or alerts, and an extended forecast for the next few days. Very useful if you are planning a gathering, vacation or trip.

WeatherTracker provides timely weather info and forecasts to both couch potatoes and active individuals alike.
