iPhone X forever restarting

Has anyone had the iphone get stuck in an endless boot loop? The hard reset using the volume and power keys doesn't even work. It simply just keeps looping form black screen to apple logo to black screen etc endlessly whether its been plugged in or not. Any suggestions on how to break this loop would be helpful.

Assuming you are talking about DFU mode, make sure you did the dance correctly because it can be tricky

If you got DFU mode correctly, and you are still experiencing this continuous restart cycle, then I think it is time to make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple store.

Thanks looks like its off to the genius bar for me. Seems like one of the OS drivers is having issues talk to the hw from the logs i can read.

If with a backup, try to put the iPhone X into recovery mode and use iTunes to restore it.

To put iPhone X into recovery mode:

1. Quickly press and release the Volume Up button;

2. Quickly press and release the Volume Down button;

3. Hold down the Power button until the iTunes logo appears.

Alternatively, use an iPhone system recovery tool like Joyoshare UltFix, Fixppo, 3uTool, etc. Such tools can help you with the iPhone X forever restarting issue causing no data loss.
