Stop calendar entries moving

Hey all

I've got a bit of a twitch in my thumb sometimes so quite often in the Apple calendar app if i swipe across to the next day in calendar i'll tap and move the calendar entry for that day. Does anyone know of a way to stop that, or to undo the move?

Calendar supports the Undo command just like other apps. If you add, change, or remove an event, you can undo the action. Also, might it help to reduce the sensitivity of your trackpad?

Thank you Ben and apologies for the very late reply! My problem is using calendar on the iPhone and I don’t think there is an undo on there. But I guesss I might just have to put up with it 🙂

Got it. Undo is still available. Historically, you can shake your phone to initiate it. As of iOS 13, you can also swipe left with three fingers.

If you've backed up events to your iCloud or iTunes calendar, then you can choose to restore the iPhone from your backup to restore missing calendar content. But it's worth noting that the iTunes / iCloud backup will erase all your existing data on the device and replace the files. 🙂
