Easiest way to resize & convert photos in Finder?

I'd like to find the easiest way to batch convert photos to JPG from HEIC and then resize. The dream would be to shift click a batch in Finder > Right click > run a script from the Services contextual menu? I remember a recent episode John & Dave discussed this. Cleanest way to set this up? Write the script in automator or keyboard maestro? Do it with graphic converter?

Convert HEIC to JPG on Right Click for Free

it will give you some ideas how to set it up. You can add a scale image action before the conversion so it resize the image before it's in a lossy format.

Next time you want to resize an image, simply right-click (or Ctrl-click) the file in Finder and select Services -> Resize Image from the contextual dropdown menu. You can also drag a selection box over several images and resize them all in one go using the service.
