This occured to me the other day so I tried it. Add emojis to the Safari Favorites Bar.
Thought I would share this.

Good thinking! Long ago I heeded a suggestion to use other symbol characters in the Favorites Bar. Being able to add emoji to the list might make life better, though it’s notable that Safari still doesn’t support favicons in the Favorites Bar.
