I got caught not appreciating the increased size of a 2280 drive with a heat sink. Seemed like a good idea to have the heat sink, but won't fit in the Synology I bought it for, and I'm not having any luck finding an enclosure. When I do a search, all I find are enclosures that have heat sinks, not one for a drive that has the heat sink. Most enclosures seem to be quite form fitting for the version without a heat sink and most only have external dimensions published, not internal.
About only thing I found was a Raspberry Pi adapter without an enclosure. Drive is a WD SN750.
Suggestions?

I would just return it, and get NVMe without a heat sink
