[Solved] Saved Passwords (Safari/iCloud)

I have noticed that Safari offers to save user id/password combinations for some, but not all websites.  I wonder if there is a way to force Safari/iCloud to save them for sites where saving them is not offered automatically?

Did you in the past choose to NEVER save the password for those sites and forgot you did that?

Safari, and any 3rd party extension, is interpreting the underlying html & javascript to try and decide what fields are user ids & passwords. If it can't interpret correctly, or is forbidden by the web page code, you would be able to manually enter the details via Safari > Preferences > Passwords > Add...   But, although that will keep a record for you in the keychain, the same problem with interpretation will most likely mean that Safari won't be able to autofill those fields when you return to the web site.

Thanks.  Not the answer I wanted to hear, but "it is what it is" as they say.
