Is there a reason that you cannot configure EERO routers via a web browser on a computer? You must use the mobile app. While I suspect most who buy EERO routers would have a mobile device, there is no reason in the world that a mobile-less user wouldn't buy these routers. It seems silly to me.

I assume that is a business decision eero made.
I guess so, but it doesn't make sense. EEROs are the first routers I've ever owned that couldn't be configured over the web.
