For what?, new emoji? “We can’t build our products in the U.S. because of the lack of skills and education.” Here’s a thought for Tim Cook, et al: How about sinking some money into scholarships? Instead of an expensive office building, how about a Steven Jobs School of Technology? How did we get through the entire US Missile and Space program of the 1950’s and 60’s? The majority of those involved in the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs had no formal engineering training and they built those marvelous craft that changed the history of mankind. We need to expect more from current technology companies and from ourselves.
