  • arrgh…. incoherence… too much coffee and typing fingers.

“Just have a 2nd generation MacBook be called the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro would be separated by the come with the touch Bar and have a 13″ and 15″ model.”

    Should read as typed below…..
Just have a 2nd generation 12″ MacBook be called the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro could be differentiated from this hyper-light MacBook Air by having the touch Bar and come in 13″ and 15″ models. No need for a 13″ model with function keys.

  • Not sure why they didn’t ditch the Macbook air since the new 13″ pro is smaller and about as light with better features. Should have just called the MacBook pro with function keys the MacBook Air.

    Or better Yet….
Just have a 2nd generation MacBook be called the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro would be separated by the come with the touch Bar and have a 13″ and 15″ model.

    Simple. Elegant.

    Additionally…..
    I concur with JustCause.
It is ludicrous that they don’t have a 64 GB memory option. Why???? Seems like such a waste. They should have something like a 16GB Starter, 32GB mid, and 64GB high end version of each MBPro. My 2010 mac mini has 8GB for god sakes. No reason a MB Pro should be hobbled out of the starting gate with 8BG.
