They tried existing designs but ran into trouble with the magnets it used. So this one\u2014called iCICLE\u2014screws together. There are plenty of Apple Pencil\u00a0<em>sleeves<\/em> on the market, including <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.macobserver.com\/news\/product-news\/apple-intros-leather-apple-pencil-case\/\">ones that Apple sells<\/a>. But the cases I&#8217;ve seen are bulky, and they would take up a lot of space in your bag. The iCICLE is slim and has a minimal design that Jony Ive would be proud of. In fact, it was inspired by <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/johnny-the-apple-pencil-case-design#\/\">Johnny<\/a>, the Apple Pencil case on Indiegogo. Unfortunately the product didn&#8217;t get fully funded.
