  1. Plan to shoot black and white before you take the shot<\/li>\n
  2. Look for the abstract<\/li>\n
  3. Shoot in RAW or use color filters<\/li>\n
  4. Use long exposures<\/li>\n
  5. Dodge and Burn<\/li>\n
  6. Understand how light is affected<\/li>\n
  7. Use HDR<\/li>\n
  8. Emphasize mood<\/li>\n
  9. Subvert Expectation (take black and white photos of things you would expect to be in color)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
