Writing for Fortune,\u00a0Polina Marinova has gathered up confessions from venture capitalists who passed on companies that would become massive successes. It’s a fun read (via The Loop), but it’s also interesting. Included are comments about Apple.\u00a0BVP\u00a0partner\u00a0Neill Brownstein called the company\u00a0\u00aboutrageously expensive\u00bb before Apple went on to what was then the largest IPO in\u00a0almost three decades. Another VC at BVP passed on Ebay, saying, \u00abStamps? Coins? Comic books? You\u2019ve GOT to be kidding.\u00bb And yet another to Facebook cofounder Eduardo Saverin: \u00abKid, haven\u2019t you heard of Friendster? Move on.
