Qualcomm has closed the gap a bit in recent years, but the other companies haven\u2019t. But how do Apple\u2019s chips compare to each other? Here are some benchmark test scores for M4, M3, and M2 models, and what speeds to expect from M5 models.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-comparing-apple-silicon-chips-speed-tests-for-m5-m4-m3-and-m2\">Comparaci\u00f3n de chips de silicio de Apple: pruebas de velocidad para M5, M4, M3 y M2<\/h2>\n\n<p>Debido a las audaces afirmaciones de rendimiento de Apple, las pruebas de referencia aparecen por todos los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gicos cada vez que llega un nuevo chip. Actualmente, lo m\u00e1s parecido a eso es usar Geekbench, que realiza pruebas separadas de CPU y GPU. <\/p>\n\n<p>Las pruebas se separaron entre CPU y GPU. Por \u00faltimo, utilic\u00e9 los valores que figuran en <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/everymac.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EveryMac, una base de datos de dispositivos Apple<\/a> que ha estado activa durante casi 30 a\u00f1os. EveryMac actualiza sus n\u00fameros de acuerdo con el promedio que figura en el <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.geekbench.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">marcador propio de Geekbench<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cpu-parameters\">Par\u00e1metros de la CPU<\/h4>\n\n<p>Siempre que estuvieron disponibles, se utilizaron las puntuaciones de Geekbench 5. Sin embargo, algunos Mac m\u00e1s nuevos solo tienen puntuaciones de Geekbench 6. <\/p>\n\n<p>Para estas unidades, los resultados se normalizaron. Los n\u00fameros se multiplicaron por la diferencia promedio entre v5 y v6 en generaciones anteriores del mismo modelo de procesador. Los dispositivos Mac que requirieron normalizaci\u00f3n tienen una nota que lo indica.  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gpu-parameters\">Par\u00e1metros de la GPU<\/h4>\n\n<p>Las pruebas de la GPU fueron m\u00e1s complicadas. Los resultados de Geekbench 5 no son fiables para tarjetas con m\u00e1s de 32 n\u00facleos, que es el caso de muchos modelos. Por lo tanto, se utiliz\u00f3 Geekbench 6 para la comparaci\u00f3n de la GPU.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, algunos modelos m\u00e1s nuevos no ten\u00edan sus resultados promedio listados. Esto es lo que hice: <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Para cada variante, divid\u00ed la puntuaci\u00f3n de Geekbench de un chip por la puntuaci\u00f3n del equivalente de la generaci\u00f3n anterior. Para esto, inclu\u00ed los modelos M1. Si, por ejemplo, una variante M3 XYZ obtuvo 1200 y la M2 XYZ obtuvo 1000, el resultado ser\u00eda 1,2. Si el M4 XYZ obtuvo 1800, el resultado (1800 dividido por 1200) ser\u00eda 1,5.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dado que no hay M4 Ultra, calcul\u00e9 este valor promediando los valores vanilla, Pro y Max. Puntuaci\u00f3n M4 dividida por la puntuaci\u00f3n M3, puntuaci\u00f3n M4 Pro dividida por M3 Pro y M4 Max por M3 Max. Suma los tres, divide por 3 y obtenemos el aumento promedio de rendimiento de M4 sobre M3.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Con las ganancias de rendimiento entre cada generaci\u00f3n calculadas, sum\u00e9 las tres y divid\u00ed por 3. De esta manera, encontr\u00e9 la ganancia de rendimiento generacional promedio. Volviendo a nuestra hipot\u00e9tica variante XYZ, imaginemos que el M2 XYZ fue un 10% mejor que el M1 XYZ.
