Caveat emptor, fellow Apple geeks. I’m now on my second set of these earbuds after slugging it out with the company to replace the first set that completely failed in less than a month. After multiple emails, DMs on Twitter, forwarded receipts, screenshots of shipping labels and more over the course of three months I finally got the replacement pair last week. They are already losing Bluetooth connections and pairing and sound even worse than the original pair. Mine are headed to the recycling bin – I’d feel guilty selling them to anyone and will just take the loss.
I have nothing against the company in particular and no ax to grind here. I just don’t want to see fellow readers and Apple geeks buy these without the benefit of knowing my personal experience.
