If you’re a woman you’re probably familiar with the tiny pockets of your clothing. Science has now confirmed what we already know: women’s pockets are too damn small.

  • Ha! Our friend just came over to get help drying out her iPhone. It slipped out of the back pocket of her jeans and fell into the toilet which fortunately had just been flushed clean.

My wife has dehumidifier for her hearing aids. I also use it for my AirPods.

  • That would actually be personal preference, not ‘science’. Believe it or not, not all women carry gigantic phones or even care to put them in a pocket. For anyone to presume to speak for an entire gender is just a tad arrogant, and a tad more annoying.

    1. My wife complains about pockets not being deep enough for items smaller than iPhones. It is hard to find women’s slacks, or even jeans, that have big enough pockets for the woman who doesn’t always want to carry purse or some such bag. Shallow pockets can be the reason items fall out and get lost, pick pocketed. Yes personal preference, but fashion designers could do well by offering women the choice of old or new school pockets.

I note that the Costco brand men’s jeans have a “watch pocket” big enough for a smart phone.

  • I am not getting how the graphic of the women wearing a mask relates to the size of women’s clothing pockets. Maybe an iPhone only halfway in a pocket would convey the message better.
