"Trying is the first step towards failure."
Often confused as the knights of 'ni' in a 1980's movie called monty python,
-ni- actually stands for nanus improbus, the fallen lords. Consisting of
many very good players, the active half of us tend to roam around
bungie.net, playing for fun, and not profit. As you
could see if you look at most of our scores, about half of us don't even
bother about rank. We are merely a bunch of fun loving guys.
25 people have bet on nanus improbus to finish in the top ten teams of MWC99. (average place ranked from 1st - 10th: 7.3)
MWC99 Threat Assessment: nanus improbus have a lot of excellent solo players among them, but
many of their members are only semi-active and they don't play
together as much as they used to. Maybe they are practicing in
preparation for MWC99; we have no information either way in connection
QR Week 1: Despite only fielding three players for their first match, -ni- pull off some lovely moves to crush their opponents mightily. If they can get a bigger team together, they will be a real threat to any order out there. Upgraded to three trow.
QR Week 2: Nanus Improbus slap the Companions in the face, hard, dishing them out the first real upset in the Warlock pool. A rather unfortunate lapse in strategy costs them the FR game, however. They then go up against Mac Gamers' Guild and lose in a hotly contested series of games.
DE Round 2: -ni- don't really face much of a challenge against MDD, who are only able to field two players (and those two haven't practiced). Game, set, match... on to Round Three.
