[8:00 AM] Two Turn Tables and MegaSeg: Mac DJs Get A New Version
by Staff

Fidelity Media, Inc. has updated the DJ mixing application, MegaSeg, to version 1.3. MegaSeg allows users to mix MP3 and QuickTime tracks using the same interface. The new version includes a number of feature enhancements and bug fixes. According to Fidelity Media:

Fidelity Media, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of MegaSeg version 1.3, the premiere DJ Music Automation System for the Macintosh. MegaSeg offers an indispensable set of segue tools for the mobile DJ, transforming any Macintosh into a full-featured mobile music system.

Version 1.3 now imports CD tracks 3 times faster, making it one of the fastest CD "ripping" programs available. In addition, version 1.3 further extends MegaSeg's range of powerful features, with expanded song database information, keyboard shortcuts for faster Library and Playlist navigation, support for various QuickTime compression codecs, and improved interface features. MegaSeg also is available bundled with N2MP3, the premiere MP3 encoder, at a discount price effective through April 30th.

MegaSeg and N2MP3 are available for US$99 for a limited time. You can find more information at the MegaSeg web site.
