[6:00 AM] Fantom Drives Bundles Toast With New FireWire CD-RW Drives
by Staff

Fantom Drives has announced that all new Fantom FireWire CD-RW drives will include the industry standard CD mastering software, Adaptec's Toast. Previous versions of Fantom drives and Toast were incompatible, but that is no longer the case. According to Fantom Drives:

Fantom Drives today announced that all new FireWire(tm) CD-ReWritable recorders will include Adaptec Toast(tm) as the standard CD-Mastering software package included with the package. While certain FireWire(tm) CD-Recorders previously introduced by Fantom were compatible with previous versions Toast(tm), all drives are now supported by and include version of Adaptec's Toast(tm) CD-Mastering software.

For customers who prefer to use the award winning CD-Mastering software from CharisMac Engineering, Discribe(tm), previously a bundled item, will continue to be available as a separate item.

You can find more information, and a full list of Fantom products, at the Fantom Drives web site.
