Shawn King has put together a great show for tonight's The Mac Show. John de Lancie, Star Trek's "Q" and avid Mac fan, will be tonight's guest on the QuickTime Streaming broadcast. According to The Mac Show:

Tonight's show promises to be one of the biggest and bets we've put together in a long time!

We are honored to be joined by John de Lancie, "Q" from Star Trek: The Next Generation"! John was at Macworld Expo, meeting and greeting fans and well wishers. We'll talk to him about his newest project, Alien Voices.

Chris Breen of Macworld will be on giving out some Tips and Tricks of the Week and Peter Cohen of MacGaming will tell us all the latest Mac Game News!

We'll also be joined by David Pogue, award-winning author of 15 best-selling computer books, has teamed with O'Reilly & Associates to launch a new imprint, Pogue Press, dedicated to producing sterling, beautifully written manuals for popular consumer software and hardware products. Pogue Press/O'Reilly is pleased to introduce its new line: the Missing Manual Series, debuting in March 2000.

And, as if that weren't enough of a show, we'll also play "What's My Product?"!

Make sure you tune in this and every Wednesday evening for the most fun you'll have listening to your Mac! And join us in our Chat Rooms on the World Without Borders site at or join us on the servers on IRC in the #themacshow Channel.
