[1:00 PM] Arabic, Anybody?
by Staff

Arabic web pages can now be easily displayed on your Mac with new WinArabic Script. WinArabic Script also allows the user to read and exchange arabic mail. According to the company:

WinArabic Script is a new Arabic language kit for MacOS which is based on Windows Arabic encoding (CP1256) instead of Apple Arabic encoding (ISO8859-6). Once this script is installed on any Mac, you can display, read and write Arabic on the vast majority of applications (WorldScript™ compatible). Furthermore, any Arabic text you produce is directly readable on any Arabic Windows PC.

WinArabic Script is available by download for US$30. A compact disc with the download version can be purchased for US $40. You can find more information on WinArabic Script at the company's web site.
