[6:00 AM] Drop Drawers 1.2 Goes French, German, Japanese, & Chinese
by Staff

Sig Software has released Drop Drawers 1.2 in foreign languages such as French and German. DropDrawers is a utility that adds unique docking space to your Mac. According to Sig Software:

Sig Software announces the release of several foreign language versions of Drop Drawers 1.2.

Drop Drawers is a user-interface enhancement which provides floating pullout, snap-shut drawers on the sides of your screen to store text, URLs, aliases, pictures, sounds, movies and anything else.

Version 1.2 is now available in English, French, German, Japanese and Traditional Chinese. We would also like to release Italian, Spanish and other translations - anyone interested in helping should contact us.

Features:

  • Highly customizable interface with colors, fonts and tab shapes.
  • Auto insertion of text (or anything else) into any application.
  • Drawers can be positioned easily on any side of any screen.
  • Drawers are self-contained files which can be moved around.
  • Image and movie files shown as QuickTime image thumbnails.
  • Drag files onto folders and applications in drawers.
  • All drawer items can have key shortcuts assigned.
  • Built-in styled text editor and picture viewer.
  • Drawers can be password-protected (using RC-5).
  • Optional speech recognition for drawer items.
  • Multiple drawers can be open simultaneously.
  • Sophisticated arrange and clean up options.
  • Patterns and pictures for drawers and tabs.
  • Drawers listing running processes.
  • Full help files included.

Drop Drawers is US15$ shareware, screenshots and downloads can be found on Sig Software's site.
