CD Caterpillar Updated To Version 2.0
Inspired Logic has released the latest version of CD Caterpillar brining the educational software to version 2.0. Cd Caterpillar is designed to help young children learn to read. The new version includes more reading material as well as the ability to print. According to Inspired Logic:

The software is based on the theory of Cognitive Experiential Learning, which means, simply, learning by doing. Toward that end, every aspect of C.D. Caterpillar is designed to focus the student on actual reading.

C.D. Caterpillar Version 2.0 includes a larger quantity of reading material than C.D. Caterpillar Version 1.0. The stories featured in Version 2.0 includes The Princess and the Goblin, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and other short stories. The controls are simple, and everything is explained verbally; no initial reading ability is assumed.

Any level reader can get started with C.D. Caterpillar. Immediate, direct assistance is always available just by clicking on the problem word. C.D. Caterpillar keeps track of the problem words, reinforcing them later in highly focused games. Version 2.0 has added a new game called “Missing Letter”. It is designed to help beginning readers with spelling skills. Inspired Logic has added a printing feature to C.D. Caterpillar Version 2.0. With this feature parents and/or teachers can print out stories or word lists for the users to study.

C.D. Caterpillar Home Version is available for $16.00. C.D. Caterpillar Classroom Version costs $80.00. There is also a membership plan where those who sign up can save fifty percent.
