Apple Scores With White House Easter Egg Roll
Apple scored a fantastic public relations coup by getting 50 iMacs involved in the annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn. According to Apple, the iMacs were set up in a special tent set up to allow parents and children to experiment and explore the Internet. What easier way to explore the Internet than with the iMac?

Rather than rehash Apple's article, we would like to encourage Observers to read the article and check out the great pictures of iMacs at work.

The Mac Observer Spin: Apple's iCEO Steve Jobs has been close to the White House since at least his return to Apple in 1997. It was shortly thereafter that he and his wife had dinner at the White House, and sometime after that that President and Mrs. Clinton had dinner at the Jobs's house in California. The White House's choice of iMacs at the Egg Roll is nothing short of a great PR score for Apple.

We would love to hear from Washington DC area Apple retailers (and retailers from anywhere else) who sold iMacs to people after they attended the Egg Roll or were otherwise influenced by this event. Send us e-mail at [email protected].
