New Tower Design Aimed At Amiga Users May Attract Apple Lawsuit Too (With Pics)
A PC tower that is being aimed at Amiga users by Iwin Corporation may attract a lawsuit from Apple too. This time, the copied design concept was bowered from the Blue & White G3. The model is called the A1010MP, and according to the Iwin web site, grammar mistakes and all:

The brand new Iwin A1010M and P workstations are up to date. Not only because of the trendy design and color(s), but also because of the high tech specifications for it.

It features everything what Amiga users are dreaming of and were promised since a long time but didn't get it. The Iwin A1010M and P workstation is the ideal computer for multimedia purpose.

A large amount of RAM, excellent graphic performance for 2D and 3D environments and programs, high quality stereo sound in CD quality, various harddisk sizes, CD-ROM / DVD-ROM drive(s), ZIP / JAZ drive (options), various display types and much more makes the Iwin A1010 M and P workstation the premium choice for all multimedia purposes. A keyboard and mouse is of course also included.

Note: Iwin Corporation does NOT sell the AmigaOS together with the A1010 and A510! You will have to get it from your local Amiga dealer.

The design is being offered in three colors:

That's correct, this computer runs on the PowerPC 604 and the G3! While the Mac would not run on this machine, this configuration is practically a Mac clone.

The Mac Observer Spin: Isn't this interesting? If the eOne is attracting the attention of the Apple law team, so assuredly is the A1010MP. These units seem to borrow from both the iMac and the Blue & White G3. In fact, it is our opinion that these borrow from Apple much more than the eOne.

It will be interesting to see of Apple announces a suit during the next 2 or 3 weeks.
