Casady & Greene Update SoundJam MP With Major Improvements
Casady & Greene have announced a fairly major update to their MP3 player, SoundJam MP. The new version has received only a modest version number increase, to version 1.01, but despite this, the update includes more improvements than we have room to print. According to Casady & Greene:

SoundJam MP, after receiving the Best Of Show at Macworld Expo in New York this July, is on its way to being more full featured and robust. That is if you can improve on what some are calling the Best Full Featured MP3 Player Encoder on the market! This new version contains dozens of enhancements that makes SoundJam MP even more versatile.

One of our most important announcements is that SoundJam MP will now support the upcoming Rio500 MP3 audio player. SoundJam MP will in fact be the Macintosh solution for the upcoming Rio500.

SoundJam MP now displays the total play time and the number of tracks at the top of the playlist as well as having improved the MP3 conversion sound quality. Internet based streaming has been improved, and with new skins appearing every week, you will have to keep coming back to http://www.soundjam.com for the latest skins, visual and audio plug-in updates!

Casady & Greene is also very pleased to announce affiliate partnerships with Ampcast.com, Greenwitch.com and MP3.com. The addition of these popular sites offering MP3 information, streaming and legal MP3 music provides SoundJam MP the audience to satisfy the deluge of requests for this full featured Mac Player/Encoder!

If you would like more information, including the long list of improvements to the product, check out the update page for SoundJam MP. You can also find download links at the SoundJam MP site.
