Biomedical Market Newsletter has released a product called "Medical Industry Association Directory--1999." According to the company:
"The comprehensive 150-page directory lists almost 1,800 medical associations worldwide. Over 300 are in 53 foreign countries.
KEY SPECIALITY AREAS ARE FEATURED: Biotech, biomed, cardiology, devices, diagnostics, equipment, instruments, lasers, orthopedics, pharmaceuticals, supplies, tests, etc."
The directory is being released in print form and on Diskette for Mac or PC. The product is priced at US$99 for the print version and US$299 for the desk version until March 31st of this year. Thereafter the print version will go up to US$145 and the disk version to US$399.
The Mac Observer Spin: There are many aspects of the Medical profession that get ignored for Mac users despite the large Mac presence in the very same Medical profession. Great to see a company specifically announce a product, even if it is just a valuable spreadsheet as opposed to a full blown application, for the Mac.
