New Mac-Only Auction Site Introduced
A new web site called AuctionMac.com has been introduced by the people at ClassMac.com. The site brings the power of online auctions to Mac users who don't want to muddle through loads of PC equipment. The following is from the home page of AuctionMac.com:

"We're Completely MacOS! Nothing but Mac stuff here... This is THE Mac auction house for hardware, systems, software, and more! And ONLY Mac! Our auction CGI is optimized, fast, and easy to use. We've got the features users want, but without the slowdowns (and without the loads of PC stuff)."

The company is not charging to browse, buy, or bid on items being sold, deriving their revenue from advertising and a fee charged to sellers. AuctionMac.com is making it easy to start however with a US$10 credit to new accounts for sellers. So if you are looking to buy or sell Mac stuff, head over to AuctionMac.com now.

The Mac Observer Spin: Online auction sites have done incredibly well during the last 12 months. Check out ebay.com (Current stock price is $246 per share, down 32 1/4, as of press time) if you have any questions. AuctionMac.com offers what we believe is a first in the Mac community, a place to have the convenience of online auctions without having to muck through any extraneous PCs, antiques, Coca-Cola paraphernalia, or Beanie Babies. Sounds like a great opportunity.

Also, starting out new accounts with a US$10 account to take care of initial selling fees is a brilliant idea.

Congratulations to the people at ClassMac for making the plunge!
