CD-RW For The iMac Introduced
QPS has introduced a CD-RW burner for the iMac called Que! that is sure to be a big hit. According to QPS:

"The compact 4 x 2 x 8 drive is contoured like the iMac and comes in iMac blueberry. An optional accessory kit allows Que!'s colored panels to be changed to iMac strawberry, tangerine, grape or lime. Que! can read/write data and/or record music on CD-R and CD-RW media, which may then be played on any CD-ROM drive or CD player. It has 2MB of buffer RAM to support application flexibility and is ideal for desktop publishing and data archiving."

Que! is being marketed as an iMac CD burner, but the product is compatible with any USB equipped PowerMac. The device is a 4x W, a 2X RW, and an 8X player. Que! is shipping with Toast for the Mac included and is priced at only US$299. The color panel kit mentioned in the quote is priced at US$30. The product should be available in the third week of March.

The Mac Observer Spin: We normally do not rave about products in news stories, but if the Que! is even half of what the company's press release makes it out to be, it is sure to be a huge mega-hit among consumers (and small business owners looking to back up files). Just imagine the effect it could have on teenagers making CD compilations (hopefully with music they own) and showing them to their friends who want to know how they did it!

Nice job QPS!
