ADI Annoucnes 19" Short Depth Monitor
ADI has announced a 19" short depth monitor called the G66 that is aimed at graphics professionals. The monitor has an 18" viewable area which is large for a 19" monitor, but occupies "20% less depth space." According to ADI:

"With a maximum horizontal scanning frequency of 95 kHz, the MicroScan G66 is capable of displaying a resolution up to 1600 x 1200 @ 75 Hz, delivering flicker-free images. Utilizing SLT (short-length tube) with 0.26 mm dot pitch (.22 horizontal), the G66 promises ultra clear picture quality and uncompromising clarity.

Additional advanced features of the MicroScan G66 include a user-friendly EasyScreen(TM) on-screen menu that controls color adjustments, moire reduction, convergence and overscan controls, tilt adjustment and much more. For multimedia functions, it offers a built-in microphone and optional high quality, full-range detachable speakers.

Additionally, the optional USB hub provides users with four downstream ports and one upstream port that allows easier connectivity and universal compatibility for plug-and-play functionality. The MicroScan G66 meets the most stringent TCO 95 labeling scheme and adheres to EPA, VESA DPMS, and NUTEK industry standards for power-saving functionality."
