Optima System has announced it is whipping PageSpinner 2.1. PageSpinner is a Shareware web authoring tool that holds its own against commercial releases. According to Optima:
"After spending several months moving the code base from the old C/C++ compiler used in previous versions, we are now using the latest CodeWarrior development environment which helps in creating a native PowerPC version and adding support for new Mac technologies such as Navigation Services."
The new version includes a host of enhanced features as well as bug fixes. A list of feature enhancements according to Optima:

- Support for file transfers to a Web server with NetFinder and Finder

- Support for Appearance fonts in dialogs
- Improved AppleScript support
- Support for menu sharing with e.g. Frontier and other menu serving applications Improved user-defined keyboard shortcuts
PageSpinner 2.1 is a free upgrade to registered owners of PageSpinner 2.0. The full version is priced at US$25.
