One Click Systems Updates ClickMail Central Directory
One Click Systems has updated ClickMail Central Directory to version 1.1. The new version includes new features and other enhancements. According to One Click Systems:

One Click Systems today shipped the 1.1 update of ClickMail Central Directory, the master address book/LDAP server for Mac OS. The update adds LDAP write, scheduled daily backup and resync with AppleShare IP, and support for AppleShare IP groups. On certain systems where searches took 5-10 seconds, 1.1 now runs at the normal speed of 1 or 2 seconds per search. Also, search algorithms were upgraded for faster searches on all systems. Also new for AppleShare IP: support for surname-first names and easier password synching. All this and the requisite bug fixes make this version recommended--and free--for all current ClickMail owners.

ClickMail Central Directory features compatibility with major email clients, easy data import and setup, optional integration with AppleShare IP server, and remote web administration. The standalone server software runs on Power Macintosh. Mac and Windows versions of Eudora Pro 4, Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Outlook, Mulberry, QuickMail Pro, and other LDAP-aware POP3 and IMAP email programs can all access it over a network to look up email addresses.

A fully functional, 30-day evaluation version may be downloaded from their web site. It comes in two versions: Basic, holding up to 100 entries, and XL, with unlimited entries and remote web administration. ClickMail Basic retails for $259, ClickMail XL retails for $499.
