Macinstein Search Engine Adds Several New Services
The Macinstein search engine has added several new features to its web based search engine. Macinstein is dedicated to Mac users looking for Mac information. The new features will help yo find vendors, events, and technical specs for Mac models. According to Macinstein:

Macinstein has embedded several new Macintosh tools on the web. A 4300 strong Macintosh Vendor search, Mac Events calendar, Error Code search and a database of each individual Macintosh's hardware round out the additions to this Macintosh Center.

The "Mac Vendors" is a simple search query that brings back the company with a contact phone number to call for product information or support. Over 95% of the entries also include a link to the vendor's web site. For easy access, Macinstein has developed a Sherlock plug-in to allow Macintosh users to search for vendors from their desktop, without launching their browser.

"Mac Events" is a dynamic calendar that has been added with Mac oriented happenings, which also allows visitors to contribute to the ongoing offering.

"About This Mac" offers a data-driven page that lets a user select their machine to find what hardware capabilities were included with each Macintosh.

Macinstein's Macintosh "Error Codes" is a searchable database to help users see what an error means and possibly assist in troubleshooting the issue.

So head over to Macinstein!
