MiniCalendar Gains New Export Features In Update
Public Access Software has updated their small, but very handy program, MiniCalnedar, to version 2.2. The new version offers new features and other enhancements: According to Public Access Software:

MiniCalendar is not designed to replace full function date books, rather it is designed to complement such programs. Applications such as Claris Organizer or Now Up-To-Date excel at managing appointments and dates, but are clumsy when it comes to looking up what day your birthday is going to fall on next year. MiniCalendar fills this niche nicely. Since MiniCalendar is small and easy enough to use, you will want to leave it running so you will always have access to a calendar.

With the update, MiniCalendar 2.2 offers the following new features:

  • Calendar exporting into popular internet-ready and desktop publishing formats:

Export formats with optional file format-specific settings:
    • JPEG
    • Photoshop (version 3+)
    • TIFF
    • PNG (Progressive Network Graphics)
    • PICT
    • BMP (Windows-native bitmap graphics)

  • Calendar view scaling up to 4x normal size.

These new features provide a quick and convenient method of generating a calendar for any month within the years 1582 through 29940 for web or other publishing needs.

The update is free to registered users. MiniCalendar is downloadable ShareWare with a modest fee of US$10.
